I am a freelance journalist and translator based in Diyarbakir. I was working as an editor at Kurdish section at bianet news website, which is a leading media outlet practicing right-based journalism for 4 years(2016-2020). Within last 5 years I was working for various Kurdish media groups as a reporter, editor and columnist. Above that I worked as fixer and translator (English, Turkish and Kurdish) with international customers, including Middle East Eye, Al Jazeera's Listening Post program, the New York Times, Deutsche Welle English and Zeit Online. In 2018 I published my first book ( Belkî îşev binive, Maybetonight she will sleep, Avesta Publisher)”, based on the personal stories of the residents in conflict zones, wanting to show the real face of conflicts and wars from civilian people’s perspectives.
